Time to Swim
Continuing from my previous post It Flows when you don't Think I started to experiment the same way I did with my animals on photoshop. Again, these are yet another starting point but I had to reconsider the way I was drawing the water. The watercolour paint underneath can speak for itself and is easier to mould under the main line drawing. This is also part of the reason why I researched animals swimming. Have you noticed the water doesn't splash anywhere near as much as I had drawn? I wanted to recreate the smoothness in the water (which is natural) without it being boring - I still want movement, so I tried to meet in the middle.
