Yan Kebbi is a fascinating illustrator from France, whom I was advised to research and I'm very grateful for that. He has so many interesting images which just pull the viewer in closer. The range and skill in his drawing is incredible. There seems to be a real thought process in where he choses to create detail or not and also in the way he uses materials. The reason I was advised to have a look at his work was because of how it changes throughout and how it's okay when that happens - I don't need my work to be neat and tidy on every single page, or unified to the point where the pages all look the same. So I definitely intend to take Kebbi as a huge inspiration, especially when creating my final spreads.
